CHOCO Mucho’s response to a seething second semifinals loss in the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference? Radio silence.
The Flying Titans declined to speak to the press after their 26-24, 18-25, 17-25, 25-27 loss to Petro Gazz — one that sent them on the brink of missing out on a third PVL Finals trip in the last four conferences.

Team captain Sisi Rondina gave it her all with 25 points and eight receptions but was still not enough for a breakthrough semis victory.
At least for now, Choco Mucho won’t be able to make up for squandering three match points in their 25-20, 19-25, 23-25, 25-22, 14-16 loss in Antipolo.

Ball out of Choco Mucho's hands now
But all hope, dimmed as it may be ahead of the final semis match day, isn’t lost yet.
Choco Mucho first needs to win over sister team Creamline, one it has only won once against in the 17 times they’ve met in the league since 2019.
If they manage to clear that hurdle, it will rise to a 1-2 card and draw level with Creamline.
Their finals hopes will still depend on how the Akari-Petro Gazz match will play out.
An Akari win over Petro Gazz eliminates Choco Mucho from finals contention.
But if Petro Gazz beats Akari and Choco Mucho beats Creamline, it will produce a three-way tie at 1-2 and the two teams with a superior statistical tiebreaker will duke it out in a playoff for No. 2 on Saturday at the Philsports Arena.
