WHILE the Choco Mucho Flying Titans have yet to reveal their import for the 2022 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Reinforced Conference, an Instagram story might have just given away a clue.
On Monday, Uzbek-Azerbaijani open hitter Odina Aliyeva posted an IG story in what appears to be the team bus of the Flying Titans as they were off to training.
IG sightings
Sighted in the video were her Azerbaijan national team bag, boxes of Choco Mucho treats, packed volleyballs, and sports drinks.
Also spotted in the team bus were fellow Flying Titans Denden Lazaro, Jem Ferrer, and newcomer Maika Ortiz.
The 6-foot-1 spiker began her professional career in 2011 for Azerrail Baku in the first of her three stints with the team. She later joined rival club Azeryol Baku in 2012 and 2014.
The 32-year-old Aliyeva has played for several pro clubs across Asia, Europe, North America, and South America.
The newest Flying Titan is also a national team mainstay, having led Azerbaijan to gold medal finishes in the 2016 Women's European Volleyball League and the 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games.
Aliyeva is set to boost Choco Mucho's quest for their first PVL podium alongside fellow attackers Kat Tolentino, Des Cheng, and Isa Molde.
