CHOCO Mucho has welcomed its newest import for the 2024 PVL Reinforced Conference in Greek Zoi Faki.
Coming off back-to-back runner-up finishes, the undermanned Flying Titans just got a much-needed shot in the arm its depleted core on Wednesday.
“Wing spikers are locked and loaded with power! Say hi to Zoi Faki who has the experience and strength to deliver the much-needed boost for the team,” the club wrote.
“Welcome to the Choco Mucho Flying Titans fam, Zoi Faki!”
This is Zoi good!
The 6-foot-1 outside hitter carries five years of top-tier college volleyball experience in the US NCAA with University of Pittsburgh and San Diego State University.
Faki led Pittsburgh to its deepest-ever run in the US NCAA women’s volleyball tournament upon reaching the Elite Eight in the 2020-21 season.

After a brief one-season stint in San Diego, she then took her talents back home in Greece where she played pro for domestic clubs AO Thiras and, most recently, Apollon Kalamatas.

A tall order awaits the now-25-year-old and the rest of the Flying Titans in the import-laden conference without Alas Pilipinas-bound aces Sisi Rondina and Cherry Nunag, while the trio of Des Cheng (knee), Aduke Ogunsanya (knee), and Kat Tolentino (ear) are still on the mend from their respective injuries.
The 2024 PVL Reinforced Conference begins on July 16.
