FORMER Far Eastern University Lady Tamaraws Toni Rose Basas and Gyzelle Sy have reunited with the Cignal HD Spikers in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL).
Cignal introduced the newest addition to the HD Spikers on Monday, after announcing the departure of six other players just a few days ago.

Basas and Sy are set to team up with fellow Tamaraws Gel Cayuna, Jerrili Malabanan, team captain Rachel Daquis and head coach Shaq Delos Santos ahead of the 2023 PVL Open Conference set to unfold on February 4.
Also a product of the FEU men’s volleyball team, Delos Santos coached the Lady Tamaraws from 2011 until 2017.
The 26-year-old opposite spiker Basas played for PLDT for two seasons, tallying 43 points on 33 attacks, five blocks, and five aces in the 2022 Reinforced Conference, her last conference with the High Speed Hitters.
Sy is making her comeback in the volleyball scene after one season. The setter last played for Chery Tiggo in the Crossovers’ title run in the 2021 Open Conference.
The duo are being eyed to fill gaps in the Cignal lineup after the team bid goodbye to spikers Angeli Araneta, Klarisa Abriam, Arianne Layug, middle blockers Joy Dacoron and Marist Layug, and setter Ayel Estrañero last Friday.
