ARA Galang showed glimpses of her vintage form as Chery Tiggo reached the five-win mark by beating Farm Fresh in the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference.
As she turned 30 earlier this month, Galang has not lost the skill that made her one of volleyball's premier stars. During the game, she fashioned her second 20-pointer on 15 attacks, four blocks and one ace.

Thanks to her conisistent performancce, she has become the Crossovers’ second-leading scorer with 106 total points through eight games, posting 13.25 on average.
Even as younger stars break into the pro scene, Galang, one of La Salle’s all-time greats, continues to draw strength from the continued support of volleyball fans.
This is not counting the legion from her UAAP days who continue to rally behind her even after being slowed down by countless injuries and health issues in the past.
“Nakakataba ng puso na nare-recognize pa rin nila ‘yung dating kami sa ngayon,” Galang told SPIN.ph.
“Nakaka-flatter, nakaka-inspire din and nakaka-motivate kasi siyempre, ‘yun din naman ‘yung nagbibigay ng fire sa’kin para magpatuloy at pagbutihan ko pa.”
She also attributed the support from the presence of coach Ramil de Jesus whose greatness is alive and well in the PVL even as most of them no longer play for the same team since F2 Logistics’ disbandment over a year ago.
Galang, a former UAAP MVP and three-time champion herself, is living proof.
“Nakaka-proud kasi alam naming iisa ‘yung pinanggalingan namin. Siyempre, si RDJ ‘yun eh, si coach Ramil (de Jesus’),” the Chery Tiggo ace said.
“’Yung sistema niya, alam kong dala-dala pa rin ng bawat isa sa’min so malaking bagay ‘yun kaya nakaka-proud talaga.”
