Chery Tiggo has been in the hot seat for the last weeks over a few contractual complications surrounding the younger Laure spiker.
Since then, the team parted ways with EJ Laure and libero Buding Duremdes.
In the midst of such drama, Samonte has already been sighted in team training clips under the team’s new head coach Norman Miguel.

The Crossovers’ official announcement confirms Samonte’s exit from PLDT after a three-year stint.
Samonte and the rest of a retooled Chery Tiggo side will battle it out in the six-month-long All-Filipino tilt starting Nov. 9.
