TRISHA Genesis gets a fresh start in the PVL with Capital1.
The Solar Spikers unveiled their newest spiker a day before the 2024-25 All-Filipino Conference’s resumption after a month-long holiday break.
LOOK:
The 24-year-old outside spiker parted ways with Nxled after a one-conference stint last year in import-laden play.

Genesis was previously included in the controversial sister-team mega-trade as one of Akari’s pawns to Nxled along with Dindin Santiago-Manabat, Roselle Baliton and Bang Pineda.
Over half a year later, only Pineda stayed put with the Chameleons, as Capital1-bound Genesis joins also-departed Choco Mucho’s Santiago-Manabat and Galeries Tower’s Baliton, who left the Akari stable shortly after the said trade was confirmed last May.
Despite only turning pro three years ago, Genesis is a proven winner in the PVL.
She was once named conference MVP and best outside spiker in Adamson’s title run back in the last edition of the PVL Collegiate Conference in 2019.

Her next ride in the league will be under the mentorship of a veteran champion mentor in Roger Gorayeb, who’ll seek to unlock more of Genesis’ scoring firepower with her soon-to-be teammates Leila Cruz, Heather Guino-o, and captain Jorelle Singh, among others.
Genesis looks to help turn the tides in the Solar Spikers’ favor following the team’s dismal 1-4 start.
