DEFENDING champion Cagayan Valley and Philippine Army look to complete a sweep of the semifinals and set up a title showdown when they battle PLDT and Air Force, respectively, on Sunday in the V-League Open Conference at The Arena in San Juan.
The Lady Rising Suns downed PLDT Home Telpad in the opener of the best-of-three semifinals, while the Lady Troopers scored a similar four-set win against Air Force.
Cagayan will again meet with the Power Attackers at 2 p.m., while Army and Air Force clash at 4 p.m.
Coach Rico de Guzman is pleased with the way they have been playing recently and is not making any changes as the Army looks to score twin titles after the team led by Rachel Daquis, Jovelyn Gonzaga and Tina Salak ruled the Super Liga All Filipino last month.
“Wala na kaming adjustment na gagawin, tibay ng loob na lang yan,' he said.
