NES Pamilar got what he wanted as Cagayan Valley trounced his former team Far Eastern University in straight sets, 25-16, 25-17, 25-22 in the Shakey's V-League Season 10 Open Conference at The Arena in San Juan on Friday.

The win was the fifth in as many games for the league-leading Lady Rising Suns, giving Pamilar a sense of satisfaction from beating a team he coached until he was removed last December.

"Tabla tabla na kami, napamukha ko na sa kanila 'yung ginawa nila sa akin. Nasabi ko na sa kanila 'yung ginawa nila sa akin dati. Nasabi ko na yung gusto kong sabihin noong nag-shake hands kami after ng game," said Palimar.

Kannika Thipachot, the 17-year-old Thai reinforcement of Cagayan, fired 14 points in the 67-minute contest, while veteran Aiza Maizo had 11 and team captain Angge Tabaquero added 10.

The victory also primed up the Lady Rising Suns for their highly-awaited encounter with fellow unbeaten team Philippine Army on Sunday. The Lady Troopers are the only other team with a perfect slate outside of Cagayan at 3-0.
