NATIONAL University cruised past UAAP rival Far Eastern University, 25-18, 25-19, 25-22, on Sunday to extend its unbeaten run to five in the Premier Volleyball League Collegiate Conference at the Arena in San Juan.
Bryan Bagunas once again led the charge for the Bulldogs with 22 points built on 19 kills on 73.07 spiking percentage and hit three service aces as NU dominated the attacking department, 44-28.
Skipper Francis Saura scored eight, while Kim Malabunga had seven hits. Setter Kim Dayadante made 19 excellent sets on top of three markers, while libero Ricky Marcos had 15 excellent receptions and five digs.
The Bulldogs tied UST Tiger Spikers for the joint league lead with 5-0 win-loss records.
