MUSIC isn’t just the stage where BINI member Mikha Lim shines.
A volleyball player herself, Lim has been in attendance during the PVL playoffs supporting one team in particular: unbeaten league-leader Akari.
But there’s more than a few reasons which led her to follow the local volleyball scene even closer.
After multiple stints in the annual Star Magic Games, where she won the best setter nod twice, Lim grew fonder with fellow celebrities in the volleyball scene including Chargers Fifi Sharma and Dani Ravena.
Connections aside, seeing the sport grow fills Lim’s heart as someone who first took a chance on volleyball before her and the ‘Nation’s Girl Group’s’ road to stardom.
“Sobrang saya ko kasi I like watching volleyball. Sobrang ganda ng napapanood ko, mga talented people sa volleyball,” BINI Mikha said.
“It's so fun, I love them, I love watching volleyball. It’s nice that a lot of people support that in the Philippines.”

As Akari stands two wins away from completing what could be an unbeaten 11-game en route to a once-unlikely championship run.
And BINI Mikha, among the Chargers’ growing fanbase, is rooting for a dream run to reach a fairytale ending.
“Siyempre, I'm supporting my friends sa Akari — si Dani, si ate Gretch [Grethcel Soltones], and Fifi kahit 'di siya makakalaro.
“I’m just gonna support.”
