BELLA Belen isn’t losing sleep over an MVP race she’s no longer part of.
“Wala naman [na] ‘yan eh,” Belen said during her TikTok livestream on Friday, brushing off talk about her MVP eligibility after Capital1’s play-in exit in the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference.

Fans flooded the comments with support, even pitching her as their MVP pick, a nod to the same rare rookie feat she once pulled off in UAAP Season 84 with National University.
But the PVL is a different story.
Capital1’s straight-sets loss to Galeries Tower shut the door on Belen’s MVP bid, with only players from semifinal-bound teams eligible for the league’s top individual award, despite the winger finishing as the conference’s top scorer while ranking fourth in spiking and seventh in digging.
Still, for Belen, the individual honor was never the priority. What stung more was the team falling short of extending its campaign.
“Ang gusto ko lang sana, makapasok sana kami,” she said.

“Ang sakit lang sa feeling na sana may laro pa kami tomorrow, sana hindi ako nagla-live now, sana tulog na ko.”
Instead of gearing up for another game, Belen found herself coming to terms with an early exit, one she even managed to quip about.
“Lord, ang aga mo naman kaming pinag-bakasyon. Ang aga mo kaming pinag-Holy Week break,” she said.
She even joked that had Capital1 made the semifinals, she would’ve ridden a horse on her way to the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
It might not be an MVP trophy for now, but in just her second-ever PVL conference, sky's the limit for Capital1's franchise cornerstone.
