KIESHA Bedonia may have come off the bench, but she delivered one of the biggest sparks for PLDT in its hard-fought five-set victory over Farm Fresh in the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference.
Inserted midway through the match, the High Speed Hitters’ reserve quickly made her presence felt, providing the much-needed energy that helped PLDT fend off the Foxies in a thrilling encounter.

Despite the crucial role she played, Bedonia admitted she didn’t necessarily expect to see action, especially with teammate Alleiah Malaluan already finding her rhythm on the floor.
Magic Bunot? Well...
Bedonia, who finished with seven points, was described by coach Rald Ricafolt as a “magic bunot,” a player capable of delivering timely contributions whenever called upon.
But for the young hitter, the label isn’t something she wants to rely on.
Instead, she hopes to prove she can consistently contribute throughout the match rather than just in crucial moments.
“Gusto ko lang maging ready all the time. Kahit sino man yung kalaban namin.
To be honest, naggigigil talaga ako na makakontribute.”

For Bedonia, the opportunity to contribute carries even deeper meaning after missing time in the previous conference due to a knee injury that briefly affected her confidence.
“Sobrang laki [boost] kasi last conference wala ako,” she said.
With PLDT continuing its strong campaign, Bedonia knows the road to a championship won’t be easy - especially after needing five sets to dispatch Farm Fresh.
“Magre-regroup ulit kami. Magpapahinga kami tomorrow, tapos Saturday, Sunday, Monday magte-training ulit kami,” she said.
Yun yung pagte-trainingan namin.”
