BanKo improved to 2-1 at the No. 5 spot.

Jem Ferrer did not suit up in the game due to dengue fever but Gizelle Tan stepped up in her absence.

Tan, who used to play as a setter in Ateneo, dished out all of the team’s 26 excellent sets, which was converted to 47 attacks in the match that took an hour and 28 minutes to finish.

“Buti naman maganda ang adjustment ni Gizelle,” said Gervacio. “She has been setter naman before so kailangan lang niya to brush up on that skill again. Buti na lang din noong solid setter she was playing as a setter so medyo nag-comeback naman to her senses ang pagsi-set niya.”

“Ok naman. Not so much expectation naman from her kasi nga iba rin ang maglaro as a setter in the professional level and we’re glad she stepped up talaga to fill up Jem’s spot,” she added.
