SKIPPER Kaylee Manns hopes BaliPure rediscovers the sense of urgency to finish off Bureau of Customs, which forced a rubber match in the Shakey’s V-League Reinforced Conference semifinals for the right to advance to the finals against Pocari Sweat.

BaliPure took the second set and managed to keep the match close only to lose steam against BoC, 25-19, 15-25, 25-20, 25-17.

“They outplayed us, there’s no doubt,” Manns said after a brief talk in their dugout. “They played harder than us, they wanted it more than us, and we all agree.”

Manns said Customs had key adjustments on defense that helped extend their semis series to a deciding game.

“They didn’t let a single ball drop, they covered every hitter, and they just played better,” she added.

Manns also expressed frustration on herself after saying that she failed to give her 100 percent in the game. She vowed, however, to make up for it in the rubber match at the PhilSports Arena on Wednesday.

“Game Three, we all know how this feels. I’m not tired, I’ve not given my all, and that’s the worst feeling I think,” she said.

“Next game, we’ll play the next game, no balls (will) fall. We’re gonna get it,” added Manns.
