PHILIPPINE Army overcame Instituto Estetico Manila, 25-18, 25-23, 22-25, 25-27, 16-14, on Wednesday in the Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference men’s tournament at the Flying V Arena in San Juan City.
Both coming from 0-2 card, the two teams aimed for at least a win in their final match of the tournament.
Army goes out with a 1-2 record, with IEM at 0-3.
Patrick Rojas led the Philippine Army with 16 markers from 13 attacks, while Benjaylo Labide added 15.
Gregorio Dolor scored 14 points for IEM, while Rudy Gatdula and Eden Canlas contributed 10 markers apiece.
