CHERY Tiggo has played 11 matches in six cities over a 49-day stretch, spanning the 2025 PVL on Tour preseason tournament and the ongoing PVL Invitational.
It still has, at most, three matches left before the month ends.

With a second shot at a second PVL title in two weeks within reach, however, the Crossovers' top gun Ara Galang, 30, says it’s mind over matter from here on out.
As she put it, “Yung pagod kasi, nandyan talaga eh, kasama yan. Naglalaro kami eh. Lahat naman pagod eh, pati yung kalaban namin, even kayo (media) nga eh, nandyan kayo every game, nagtatrabaho rin kayo.”
“Kailangan lang ma-overcome yun. Kailangang i-set aside namin yung pagod. Yung laro namin, ilaban namin kung hanggang anong kaya namin.”
It might not be ideal to enter a new tournament four days since losing the preseason title game, but Galang acknowledged that they fought long and hard to be in a championship-contending position, tiring as it may be.
Now that they have inside track for a second straight PVL Finals trip, slow and steady is what will win this race for Chery Tiggo.
“Ginusto rin naman namin ‘to eh. 'Di naman kami naglalaro lang para hindi manalo. Laging yun yung goal namin, yun yung gusto namin. Kailangang panindigan namin yung inaabot namin,” she said.
“Ngayon, medyo nasa taas kami, so kailangan yung consistency and yung lagi kaming may gustong i-improve sa sarili namin. Magre-reflect naman yun as a team kapag individually nag-step up.”
