DASMARINAS, Cavite — Ara Galang put up 11 points and 11 digs in Chery Tiggo’s playoff-clinching win over Galeries Tower in the 2025 PVL on Tour knockout round.
In numerology, 11-11 is often associated with granting one’s personal wishes and desires.
And on the night of her 11-11 game, Galang made time to make one of her lifelong fan’s wish come true.
Patiently waiting a few steps away from Chery Tiggo’s dugout was Flordeliza Reyes, whose excitement couldn't be hidden with her idols just a few meters awy from her.

She held a banner that wrote ‘Go Ara, go Chery go, go Aby,’ pertaining to Galang, the Crossovers and team captain Aby Marano — both being former La Salle stars.
Reyes had her ultimate fangirl moment when Galang approached her and even shared a quick chat and a tight hug.
Still in disbelief after meeting her idol, Reyes shared how such a priceless encounter years in the making was one she’ll forever cherish.
“Ang lakas ng tibok ng dibdib ko. Tuwang-tuwa ako, nangangatog ako sa tuwa,” Reyes said while still holding up her handmade banner.
How long has she been a fan? For almost as long as Galang has been around in the volleyball scene.
And she intends to keep it that way.
“Matagal na po. F2 pa sila, bago pa nga sila mag-F2, La Salle pa lang,” Reyes said. “Mahusay sila at mabait.”
