A FAMILIAR face returns to Philippine volleyball as champion American import Khat Bell joins the Chery Tiggo Crossovers for the 2024 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Reinforced Conference.
The Crossovers unveiled their star signing on Wednesday, with Bell becoming the second confirmed reinforcement for the import-laden conference in a month’s time.

“Khat is back and Khat is home. Welcome back to the Philippines and welcome home to the CHERY fam, Khat Bell,” the club wrote.
Super in Philippine Superliga
Bell last played for six-time champion Petron Blaze Spikers in the now-defunct Philippine Superliga (PSL) from 2018 to 2020. She won two titles as Petron’s reinforcement in the 2018 and 2019 Grand Prix and was also hailed as best outside hitter in the latter.
The 6-foot-2, Texas-born attacker sits second in the PSL’s single-game scoring list with 42 points built on 36 attacks, four aces, and two blocks in Game One of the 2018 Grand Prix finals vs. longtime league rival F2 Logistics.

Since her farewell stint with Petron, Bell played in other international pro leagues in Turkey, Korea, and the U.S. before her surprise homecoming and her soon-to-be PVL debut.
Bell looks to boost the spiker-laden Crossovers’ championship charge come the import-laden Reinforced Conference after a top four finish in the season-opening All-Filipino Conference.
