ALYSSA Alyssa Valdez has been named Most Valuable Player of the Shakey’s V-League Season 12 Open Conference.
The Ateneo star, back-to-back winner of the UAAP MVP title, also bagged the First Best Outside Spiker award, while Army mainstay Rachel Anne Daquis was the Second Best Outside Spiker.
Meralco’s Jen Reyes was named Best Libero and PLDT’s Rubie de Leon won the award for Best Setter.
Rookie Ria Meneses of Cagayan Valley was awarded First Best Blocker, while PLDT’s Jaja Santiago was the Second Best Blocker.
Lady Trooper Jovelyn Gonzaga was named Best Opposite Spiker.
