ALYSSA Valdez and Grethcel Soltones will skip the first three matches of new V-League team Bali Pure as they play exhibition matches in Europe.
The 22-year old former Ateneo star left for London on Monday and won’t be back until June 7.
Bali Pure debuts in the Season 13 Open Conference against Iriga on Monday before facing Air Force on June 4 and National University on June 6.
Without the two, Bali Pure remains a solid team with former Lady Eagles Amy Ahomiro, Denden Lazaro, Mae Tajima, Dzi Gervacio and playing coach Charo Soriano.
“May 27 we’re gonna play at the University of East London,” she said.
Kiefer Ravena will also take part in the exhibition match against Filipinos based in the UK.
After the match in London, Valdez and Soltones are also scheduled to play in Italy.
“On June 2 na we’re gonna be in Italy, si Kiefer ‘di na namin kasama kasi may commitment din siya. So sa June 7 balik namin sa Manila,” she said.
“Siguro may mga mami-miss din akong mga games pero definitely when I get back siyempre kailangan nating maging committed sa V-League,” she added.
Barring any hitches, Valdez and Soltones will play their first game for Bali Pure on June 13 against University of the Philippines.
