CREAMLINE sent Tacloban crashing back to earth with a 25-15, 25-21, 25-15 win in the Premier Volleyball League Open Conference on Wednesday at The Arena in San Juan.
Coming off a five-set loss to Petro Gazz on Saturday, the Cool Smashers made the win column while Tacloban slipped to 2-2.
Alyssa Valdez scored 20 points and was pleased to see the Cool Smashers recover from the huge loss.
“Well sobrang frusrated namin as a team talaga kasi syempre hindi namin ine-expect na ganoon kasama ‘yung pagkatalo namin kasi we’ve been training hard for the past few months,” said Creamline skipper Alyssa Valdez.
“It’s a a wakeup call, it’s an early wake up call sa amin and it’s a good thing ganoon na panggising we hope na natuto kami,” she added.
