CREAMLINE head coach Sherwin Meneses bared that his two former MVPs in Alyssa Valdez and Tots Carlos are now fully healthy.
Just don’t expect them to suit up for Thursday's PVL Invitational Finals.
The pair missed the entirety of the Reinforced Conference due to undisclosed injuries. Now, Meneses is keeping the brilliant duo fresh for the upcoming All-Filipino conference this November, given their quick turnaround to the finals.
“As of now, wala pa kaming lead dyan. Hopefully, makalaro sila pero bukas na ‘yung (championship) game so definitely, out na talaga,” Meneses said.
“Pero healthy na sila. ‘Yun naman ang pinakamagandang nangyari sa’min.”
But the thousands of Creamline faithful is certainly happy that one of their ‘Big Three’ has already made a successful return for the squad.
Jema Galanza, a player who also missed the entirety of the Reinforced Conference due to her national team commitments, had a rousing return for the Col Smashers.
In the Invitational Conference’s preliminary round finale against Farm Fresh, Galanza fired 13 points built on 11 attacks and two blocks despite only playing Sets 2 and 3 in a one-hour, 24-minute straight-sets contest.
