"After making her mark overseas, one of the most awaited volleyball prospects, Alyssa Solomon, is bringing her game home for the 2026 PVL Draft," her handler Flavius Dulce said.

The former Lady Bulldog recently helped Osaka Marvelous reach the 2025-26 Japan SV.League women’s finals before the team settled for silver against Saga Hisamitsu Springs, marking her final foray in Japan for now.
Before taking her talents overseas, Solomon built a decorated collegiate career with National University, emerging as one of the pillars behind the Lady Bulldogs’ rise into a UAAP powerhouse.
The 6-foot-1, 24-year-old power hitter collected seven best opposite hitter awards throughout her career, winning the honor twice in the UAAP, twice in the SEA V.League with Alas Pilipinas, and three more times in Shakey’s Super League preseason play.
Solomon could have easily turned pro locally last year alongside fellow National U star Bella Belen, who eventually became the top overall pick of Capital1 in the 2025 PVL Draft.
Instead, she chose to skip the draft altogether and begin her professional career overseas in Japan.

Now after completing her first full season abroad, Solomon is finally set to bring her game home. And with her entry now official, this year's drafting landscape may have just shifted dramatically.
Barring any major surprises, the race for the No. 1 pick may already have its clear frontrunner over fellow highly-touted prospects like her ex-NU teammate Lams Lamina, four-time UAAP best middle blocker Nina Ytang and UST libero Detdet Pepito.
