ALYSSA Solomon will not join the 2025 PVL Rookie Draft.
Multiple sources told SPIN.ph that Solomon's priority will be to explore all possible options to play overseas.

This comes contrary to the decisions of three of her fellow graduating National U seniors in three-time UAAP MVP Bella Belen, Erin Pangilinan, and Sheena Toring.

The Lady Bulldogs' multi-titled trio have thrown their names in the mix for this year's draft, just in the nick of time ahead of yesterday's application deadline.
As far as Solomon's immediate future is concerned, SPIN.ph first caught wind of the two-time best opposite hitter's intent to follow NU great Jaja Santiago's trail in the Japan SV.League.
Midway through Season 87, Solomon's first crack at an overseas stint had to be abruptly averted.
Her bid to join the Korean Volleyball League (KOVO) Asian Quota Draft was cut short to avoid jeopardizing her amateur status and UAAP eligibility at the time.
With her collegiate career now done and dusted, Solomon made it clear that the next chapter of her career won't be written on home soil anymore.
Like her 'ate Jaja,' her long-term goal is to not only be an overseas champion, but to etch her name among Filipino imports to have flown the flag on a winning note in the international scene.
