IF there was ever any doubt on Creamline’s dynasty before, best believe Alyssa Valdez never lost faith.
Watching the Cool Smashers complete back-to-back PVL title runs from the sidelines was never easy for the longtime captain of the league’s winningest team.

But to see them defy the odds, turn doubters down and leave a legacy of their own left Valdez emotional, and most importantly, proud.

“It was a very emotional championship just because ang bilis ng mga pangyayari. No one really thought na after a championship, tuloy-tuloy din agad talaga and then we’re gonna get another championship,” said Valdez.
“Deserve talaga ng lahat ng girls ‘yung mga awards nila and the championship because they really worked hard for all of these.”
A (Sher)winning system
As one of Creamline’s last pioneer players still in the squad, Valdez saw the PVL’s most successful franchise rise from the ground up — with more highs than lows over the last seven years.
The secret? Creamline’s longstanding system that gave birth to an unrivaled winning culture and stood the test of time.
“It’s really the system of coach Sherwin, the team, the players, everyone in the Cool Smashers. They really respect the system, each and everyone, from the management down to the utility and everyone, ‘yun din talaga ‘yung nag-wowork,” said Valdez.

“It’s really the culture in our team that’s why kahit sino talagang mag-sstep up.
With a new PVL season just a few months away, will Valdez don the Creamline threads again after a lengthy layoff?
“Hopefully, yes.”
