FORMER PVL best libero Alyssa Eroa has found a new home with the ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles.
The 28-year-old veteran libero made the move from one young squad to another just a month after her shock exit from Galeries Tower.

There, she played a 13-month, three-conference stint in what became her comeback run to the sport after a brief hiatus which landed her in the business process outsourcing industry.

Eroa’s final act as a Highriser led to the franchise’s most memorable campaign yet in its two-year-run in the PVL.
The Galeries Tower captain and former San Sebastian standout spearheaded a Cinderella run which saw them reach the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference quarterfinals after stunning Cignal in a five-set classic in the qualifying round.
The first round of the knockout stage would also be where the dream run ends as Eroa & Co. fell short in back-to-back five-set matches to Akari.
Nonetheless, Eroa’s leadership saw Galeries Tower reach a franchise-best Top Eight finish.
Much-needed brew
The former Galeries Tower skipper’s addition to ZUS Coffee is a timely one, to say the least.

Even after finishing seventh in All-Filipino play, floor defense has been one of the team’s key areas of concern with two young liberos in Julia Angeles and incoming league sophomore Jenina Zeta manning the floor.
As such, the Thunderbelles’ third floor defender might just be their most important weapon yet in a bid to rise through the ranks higher than they already did last conference.
The remainder of the 2025 PVL season is expected to go underway in the final quarter of the year following the country's hosting of the FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship in September.
