ALYSSA Valdez is 'feeling so much better' after an injury scare in Creamline's five-set win over Cignal.
A sudden burst of pain on her once-injured knee prompted Valdez' early exit from the match in the second set.

She'd go on to do warmups by herself upon receiving treatment on her knee from the sidelines.
Valdez shared to SPIN.ph how she took a quick glance at head coach Sherwin Meneses in the early goings of the match to imply the discomfort she suddenly felt.
At least for the time being, the Creamline captain believes she has dodged a bullet.
"Now, I'm feeling so much better. Chineck din naman ako ng PTs namin and Doc (Raul) Canlas also messaged na,” Valdez said.
“Doing well. I hope nothing serious naman ‘yung nangyari. I’m just really grateful to my coaches din na kilalal na nila ‘yung mga players. Isang tingin lang kay coach Sherwin, alam na niya at in-acknowledge niya rin na medyo may hindi ako maayos na nararamdaman," she added.
“Right now, feeling so much better. Hoping na makapahinga and mas makarecover pa.”
Valdez is scheduled for a precautionary checkup in the next days to have a clearer understanding of her discomfort.
“We’re just gonna wait and see kung ano ‘yung further instructions. Hopefully, hopefully, sana wala na rin,” said Valdez.
“(Magpapa-checkup ako) kust to make sure. For sure, ‘yung doctors naman, mag-uupdate and ‘yung mga PTs din namin.”
