WITH Petro Gazz set to take a leave of absence from the league, what happens to the players left on the team?
As confirmed by the PVL, the entire roster will enter free agency with just three weeks remaining before the 2026 All-Filipino Conference gets underway.

It now becomes a race against time, not only for these players to land new homes, but also for the league’s 10 remaining teams to secure the signatures of their preferred Angels and reinforce their rosters with championship pedigree.
Only 12 players remain in the mix for the four-time PVL champions, nine of whom have contracts that have already expired.
The remaining three in two-time Finals MVP MJ Phillips, incoming sophomore setter Jules Tolentino, and inaugural draft first-rounder spiker AA Adolfo all have live contracts but are likewise set to enter free agency.
Still, the biggest catch in this pool of free-agent Angels is, without question, three-time PVL MVP Brooke Van Sickle.
The 26-year-old outside hitter has already built one of the most impressive resumes in the league in just about two years of PVL action.
She is only the third player in league history after Creamline’s Alyssa Valdez and Tots Carlos to win conference MVP honors three times, to go along with two best outside hitter awards.
And beyond Van Sickle, there is no shortage of high-value talent still available, offering either proven veteran presence or youthful upside that any team would gladly add to its lineup.
