NXLED will join the Premier Volleyball League as its 12th local squad.
The Chameleons are expected to see action starting Oct. 16 in the All-Filipino Conference.
Akari's sister team
In an official statement by Akari Sports, the Chameleons are confirmed to be the company’s expansion team as a ‘sub-brand’ of the Akari Lighting and Technology Corporation.
NXLED is the third addition to the league in the 2022-23 season after Farm Fresh and Foton’s arrival in the Invitationals.
The Chameleons and Power Chargers are also the fourth set of PVL sister teams after Creamline-Choco Mucho, PLDT-Cignal and Chery Tiggo-Foton.
