IT won’t be a long wait before Ced Domingo makes her keenly awaited debut for the Akari Chargers.
While newly-minted interim head coach Raffy Mosuela didn’t give a specific date, he said there is already a projected timetable for Domingo's Premier Volleyball League (PVL) return.
“Well, makakasagot siguro si team manager namin but nabigyan naman ako (ng projected date) na sabi niya first week of March,” Mosuela said.
The former PVL Finals MVP rang in the new year with a high-profile departure from seven-time champion club Creamline. But she will have to finish her commitment in Japan before joining the Power Chargers.

“Nakaka-overwhelm yung mga pangyayari. Ganun pala yun, pag binuksan mo yung pinto tapos ang daming kumakatok, talagang nakaka-overwhelm,” said Domingo through her talent agency VP Global Management.
“I’m really happy dito sa naging decision ko especially because I know I took everything into consideration. From nakaka-overwhelm, ngayon excitement na yung na-ffeel ko. It’s been a long time since lumipat ako ng team so I’m very much excited to try a new system and environment,” she added.
Together with fellow new signings Grethcel Soltones and Max Juangco, alongside interim head coach Mosuela and deputy mentor Tina Salak, Akari looks to build on its best-ever seventh-place finish last conference when the new PVL season begins February 20.
