PHILIPPINE Air Force tries to bounce back after a heartbreaking loss as it takes on skidding Meralco in the quarterfinals of the Shakey's V-League Season 10 Open Conference on Tuesday at The Arena in San Juan.

The Air Women are coming off an energy-sapping five-set loss to the Army on Sunday and are expected to vent their ire on hapless Meralco, which is looking to snap a four-game losing run and keep its flickering quarterfinal hopes alive.

The match starts at 4 p.m.

The Air Women are running fourth with a 3-5 win-loss card in the six team quarterfinals, while the Power Spikers are fifth with a 1-6 card.

Judy Ann Caballejo had 26 points in the Air Women’s 22-25, 21-25, 25-21, 25-19, 13-15, loss to Army on
Sunday, but is again expected to come up huge, along with Wendy Semana and Joy Cases, to propel the squad.

League-leading Cagayan clash with also-ran Philippine National Police in the curtain-raiser at 2 p.m.

The Lady Rising Suns, holding an 8-0 card, were first to secure a spot in the Final Four and they try to finish the quarterfinals with an unblemished slate. PNP is at the bottom with a 0-7 carryover record, not counting a win over FEU in the preliminaries.
