AIR Force bounced back, beating bottom team Chef’s Classics, 25-15, 25-17, 25-20, in the PVL Open Conference on Saturday at the Arena in San Juan.
The Jet Spikers, coming off a loss to Petro Gazz that shattered their semis dreams, proved too strong for the hapless Lady Red Spikers, who finished their first PVL conference winless in 16 matches.
Jozza Cabalsa showed the way for Air Force with 12 points on six kills, five blocks and an ace, while Dell Palomata scored 11 points in the one-hour and 13-minute match.
Air Force scored its seventh win in 15 matches, still in fifth spot, but head coach Jasper Jimenez was far from impressed
“Actually walang maganda e, honestly.
Chef’s Classics had another error-filled match with 33 miscues.
Nieza Viray scored 12 and Justine Tiu added 10 for Chef’s Classics.
