Air Force head coach Jasper Jimenez was glad that his wards finally spread their wings to get a breakthrough win and improve to 1-5 win-loss record.
“Dahan-dahan na kaming nakaka-focus kasi last two weeks galing kami ng Cagayan De Oro, naglaro kami dun. Sabi ko bakit kapag di aircon ang ganda ng laro?Kapag aircon parang sinisipon,” beamed Jimenez sharing laughter with the reporters.
“Pero yun talaga end game ang problema namin. Nawawala ang finishing namin. Yun pa rin talaga ang daming kulang,” he added. “Sana magtuloy-tuloy na.”
The Lady Jet Spikers unleashed 43 attacks to outplay the Lady Red Spikers’ 26 kills as they stayed winless in seven games.
Nobody scored in double figures for Chef’s Classics with Nieza Viray and Justine Tiu leading the way with nine points apiece in a losing effort.
