ADAMSON bounced back from an opening-day loss by making short work of St. Louis University, 25-10, 25-10, 25-20, on Thursday in the Shakey's V-League Season 11 First Conference at The Arena in San Juan.

Mylene Paat came up with 11 points for the Lady Falcons, rookie Jessica Galanza added nine and Bhebs Pineda scored eight as the Lady Falcons completed the win in only 68 minutes.

Guest player Pau Soriano chipped in with seven points, while Thai hitter Pacharee Sangmuang had only four points.

The Lady Falcons, who bowed to Ateneo in the opening match of Season 11, are now tied with Southwestern University in Group A with 1-1 win-loss cards.

“One week kasi kaming walang practice kasi finals exams ng mga players kaya ganoon ang laro namin,” said Adamson coach Sherwin Meneses, referring to their four-set loss to Ateneo.

"’Yung import namin maayos na ang laro kasi nakaka-practice na araw-araw," he added.

Florence Madulid scored six and guest player Krissian Tsuchiya had five for SLU, winless in two matches.
