ADAMSON University came from a set down to turn back University of Santo Tomas, 15-25, 20-25, 20-25, 19-25, and stay in the hunt for third place in the Premier Volleyball League Collegiate Conference on Wednesday at The Arena in San Juan.

Best opposite spiker Eli Soyud led the Lady Falcons with 14 points, while second best outside spiker Bernadette Flora had 12 and Joy Dacoron chipped in 11.

AdU, which came from a five-set loss to UST in Game One, holds a superior quotient (4-2) and, as per league rules, if University of the Philippines ends the best-of-three finals series against Far Eastern University, the Lady Falcons will take home the bronze medal.

Padda revealed that the past weeks have been difficult for the team especially after a perfect run in the elimination round only to bow out of the finals race.
