ADAMSON University soared to a 2-0 win-loss record and dealt La Salle its second defeat, 25-21, 25-16, 22-25, 25-20, on Wednesday in the Premier Volleyball League Collegiate Conference at The Arena in San Juan.
Team Captain Paolo Pablico led the Falcons with 17 points and 11 of the team’s 50 excellent digs.
George Labang and Geoffrey Alicando delivered 14 hits apiece as Adamson joined ‘National University on top of the standings.
The Falcons, who also had 31 excellent sets, will go for their third win against San Beda Red Spikers on Saturday.
Kieffer Reyes had 15 points, Cris Dumago scored 14 and John Aquino added 10 for La Salle.
The Green Spikers have yet to win after two outings and try to recover on Sunday against UST Tiger Spikers.
