Marano said the adjustment period could take a while, noting there were six players who are now out of the lineup, two new signings, and a new coach.
"'Wag na po kayong mag-expect, basta maglalaro po kami this conference," Maraño said in jest.
However, Marano says she truly savors the chance to play under Regine Diego with an intact core, alongside key additions Myla Pablo, Chinnie Arroyo, and the returning Cha Cruz-Behag.
"The team is still intact in terms of our core which is very important for us. Excited kami na makalaro 'yung mga bagong members ng team and especially now to be coached by Coach Regine," said Marano, who surprisingly was excluded from the provisional women's national pool for the Southeast Asian Games.
"May bagong sistema, bagong team kaya excited na rin kami sa unang [laban] ng PVL ngayong 2023."
