BALIPURE brought down defending champion Pocari Sweat, 25-23, 25-22, 25-14, to stay unscathed in the Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference on Thursday at The Arena in San Juan.
Grethcel Soltones unloaded 20 points for the Water Defenders, who strengthened their hold of the solo top spot and improved to a 3-0 win-loss record.
Myla Pablo scored 10 points for Pocari Sweat while Jeanette Panaga, Cai Nepomuceno and Elaine Kasilag finished with eight points each.
The Lady Warriors, tagged as one of the pre-tournament favorites, have yet to win a game in two outings.
