VICE Co. overcame a slow start to beat Instituto Estetico Manila, 28-30, 25-21, 25-23, 25-16, in the men’s division of the Premier Volleyball League on Wednesday at The Arena in San Juan.
Richard Solis scored 17 points for the Blockbusters, who improved to 2-1, tied with IEM.
John Paul Bugaoan added 13, while Jude Garcia and Redijohn Paler each had 10 markers for Vice Co., which scored 11 total rejections in the nearly two-hour match.
Joeward Presnede scored 16 for IEM, while Mark Enciso had 15 points and skipper Greg Dolor added 13.
