Filipinas bow to Thailand, will face unbeaten Vietnam in SEA U-19 women's volley semis

THE Philippines settled for the No. 2 seeding in its group for the semifinals after bowing to host Thailand, 14-25, 23-25, 25-16, on Monday in the 19th Princess Cup Southeast Asian Women's Under-19 Championship in Sisaket.

Naitonal University’s Jasmine Nabor again led the charge for the Filipinas with 11 hits.

They take on Vietnam, which swept its matches in Pool B. Thailand plays Pool B No. 2 Indonesia.

The Philippines earlier beat Singapore, 25-9, 25-14, 25-23, and New Zealand, 25-23, 25-13, 17-25, 25-17.
