They take on Vietnam, which swept its matches in Pool B. Thailand plays Pool B No. 2 Indonesia.
The Philippines earlier beat Singapore, 25-9, 25-14, 25-23, and New Zealand, 25-23, 25-13, 17-25, 25-17.
