Skipper Sue Roces led the Power Attackers with 21 points, while Sasa Devanadera and Maru Banaticla added 15 and 12 points, respectively.
“It was a good win, but we looked tired and slow in the third and fourth sets," said PLDT coach Roger Gorayeb.
With most of his players having full-time jobs, the veteran mentor appeared concern about the condition of his team.
“Siguradong talo kami kapag tumagal pa ang laban. Masyado kaming napapagod dahil kulang pa sa ensayo ang mga bata,” he said.
“Hindi simpleng liga ang PSL. Kailangan maganda talaga ang kondisyon mo para manalo."
PLDT Home TVolution evens its record at 1-1 just a shade below league-leader Air Asia (2-0).
Aiza Maizo-Pontillas finished with 17 points, while Janine Marciano chipped in 14 for the Rising Suns, who absorbed their second consecutive setback.
