PLDT Home TVolution- Air Force kept its unbeaten record following a three-set rout of Via Mare, 25-13, 25-19, 25-21, in the Philippine Super Liga All-Filipino Conference at the Astrodome on Wednesday night.
Ranran Abdilla and Ron Jay Galang each had 15 points for the Power Attackers, who displayed a balance scoring as every players fielded except for one, score at least two points.
The Power Attackers improved to a perfect 4-0 record as it cemented its hold of the top spot at the end of the first round elimination.
"Siguro maganda lang ang gising ng mga bata. Noong mga nakaraan kasi hindi (maganda ang gising) eh kasi umaabot ng mga four sets," said PLDT Home TVolution mentor Jasper Jimenez, whose boys took only 72 minutes to dispose the Voyagers.
"At least ngayon worth it ang mga pina-practice namin," he added.
The Power Attackers finished the game with a bang, outscoring Via Mare, 4-2, before Abdilla came through with a kill for the exclamation point to the win.
"Si Ranran talaga ang first option ko, kaya hindi ko siya inuupo," said Jimenez of Abdilla, who is the team's top offensive option.
Julius Raymundo had eight points for Via Mare, which remained winless in four outings.
