THE Philippine national team ended its series of tune-up matches on Tuesday after a draw against Toray Arrows, 28-26, 17-25, at Ramkhamhaeng University in Bangkok, Thailand.
During their first meeting, PH team bowed to the Japanese club, 24-26, 16-25, 11-25, 18-25, 21-19.
The Pinay spikers paraded a complete lineup as Premier Volleyball League players Jia Morado, Jovelyn Gonzaga, Maddie Madayag and Eya Laure arrived on Sunday afternoon as they faced Dindin Santiago-Manabat’s former team in the Japan V.League.
They joined Aby Maraño, Kalei Mau, Alohi Robins-Hardy, Ces Molina, Aiza Maizo-Pontillas, Majoy Baron, Mylene Paat, Roselyn Doria, Kath Arado and Dawn Macandili, who have been in Thailand since September 7.

The Philippine team will travel to Nakhon Ratchasima on Wednesday for the Southeast Asian Grand Prix from September 20 to 22.
