Missing wing spikers Marck Espejo, John Vic De Guzman, Mark Alfafara, and Bryan Bagunas, the National Team was still able to earn its sixth win in seven outings as Fauzi Ismail stepped up.

Ismail led the way with 13 points to lead Rebisco, while Ranran Abdilla and Rex Intal added 11 and nine markers, respectively.

“Kung sino ‘man ‘yung nasa line-up namin, ang importante is ‘yung sistema namin na sinasabi ko sa kanila lagi is makuha nila,” said national team head coach Dante Alinsunurin. “Matagal pa naman ‘yung preparation kaya hanggat maari, namimili talaga kami sa kanila.”

Vince Abrot carried Animo Green Spikers with 10 points.

    Meanwhile, Sta. Elena survived Instituto Estetico Manila in a nail-biting duel, 25-16, 25-22, 21-25, 22-25, 22-20.

Edward Camposano led the way with 24 points. Berhashidin Daymil chipped in 18 points, while Nico Almedras added 14 markers including his kill that broke the 20-all in the fifth set before a service error from Lorenz Santos that gave the Ball Hammers a 4-3 record.
