SEEING a volleyball shotcaller juggle multiple duties from simultaneously -- from the pros, to the collegiate scene isn't really new in the Philippine volleyball coaching landscape today.

Such overlapping duties in at least two of the current college and pro volleyball leagues in the PVL, UAAP and NCAA range from dual head coaching stints, dual assistant coaching duties, head coach in one team and a deputy in another, team consultancy roles, administrative positions and many other permutations.
In light of the NCAA's recent sanction on Jerry Yee for coaching both NCAA women's volleyball champion College of St. Benilde Lady Blazers and PVL team ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles, SPIN.ph curated a list of active coaches with multiple roles across the country's major volleyball leagues in both college and pro ranks.
JERRY YEE
As part of the Frank Lao-led Strong Group Athletics (SGA) stable, Yee has taken turns in handling a few SGA teams across the PVL, UAAP and NCAA.
Notwithstanding a potential Benilde exit, Yee remains head coach of the fourpeat-seeking Lady Blazers and the resurgent Thunderbelles in the PVL.

SHERWIN MENESES
Now a seven-time PVL champion head coach and Grand Slam winner, Meneses is in his third year calling the shots for the sport's most successful club team Creamline Cool Smashers.
In October last year, he'd then be tapped to lead the defending UAAP women's volleyball champions National University Lady Bulldogs in their bid for a third title in four seasons.

DANTE ALINSUNURIN
Longtime men's volleyball head coach Alinsunurin has orchestrated National U's historic four-peat in the UAAP.
In 2023, he'd make his way to the PVL as head coach of fan-favorite team Choco Mucho Flying Titans which he has led to two finals appearances in over a year at the helm.

BENSON BOCBOC
Like Yee, Bocboc is also among the coaches in the SGA stable following an eight-year deputy coaching stint with the Ramil de Jesus-led De La Salle Lady Spikers from 2016 to 2024.
He has since been tasked to spearhead the resurgences of the Farm Fresh Foxies in the PVL and the University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons women's volleyball team in the UAAP.

KUNGFU REYES
University of Santo Tomas' lead tactician Kungfu Reyes is in his 10th year with the Golden Tigresses this Season 87 which he has led to two finals appearances.
After stepping down as head coach of the Chery Tiggo Crossovers in the PVL, one which he held concurrent to his UST duties last year, Reyes opted to stay put in the pro scene as a deputy to former NU champion mentor Norman Miguel.

TINA SALAK
One of Far Eastern University's all-time greats in Tina Salak returned to the Lady Tamaraws' den after a year-long absence upon migrating to America with her family.
Her much-awaited comeback in Philippine volleyball also had her rejoin the Akari stable in the PVL, but this time, as a deputy for the Nxled Chameleons.

RAFFY MOSUELA
Mosuela once headed both Nxled and the Akari Chargers in the PVL over the past year before being replaced by foreign coaches in Italy's Ettore Guidetti and Japan's Taka Minowa, respectively.
Now a deputy for Nxled, he has now taken on the head coaching role for Adamson's men's volleyball team.

ARNOLD LANIOG
A champion coach himself, Laniog is the only one in this list with a trifecta of coaching duties in alll three volleyball leagues.
The veteran mentor is the current head coach of Benilde's men's volleyball team while holding deputy roles for La Salle in UAAP men's volleyball and for perennial PVL powerhouse PLDT High Speed Hitters.

BRIAN ESQUIBEL
Longtime deputy Esquibel has held multiple coaching posts across the three leagues.
At present, he is the current head coach of Letran's men's volleyball team and has recently jumped ship to the Petro Gazz Angels as one of its newest assistant coaches.

ROGER GORAYEB
Heralded champion mentor Gorayeb marked his return to the pros after a brief hiatus as head coach of the one-year-old Capital1 Solar Spikers in the PVL.
He was, and remains, a coach for the San Sebastian women's volleyball team in the NCAA but is listed as a deputy this season to adhere to the league's revived restriction on concurrent head coaching roles in pro and college leagues.

SHAQ DELOS SANTOS
May it be in college or club volleyball, and even the national team for a time, delos Santos has been a decorated coaching fixture in the sport over the last few decades.
He is the head coach of PVL powerhouse Cignal HD Spikers and was tapped to return to one of the first college teams he's held, but this time as Reyes' deputy in UST.

LERMA GIRON
Like delos Santos, Giron is part of the PVL coaching trio in charge of leading UST back to championship glory under Reyes' leadership.
She is also the PVL's only active female head coach with Galeries Tower and second-ever after F2 Logistics' Regine Diego.

ETTORE GUIDETTI
Roughly five months into his Philippine coaching stint, veteran Italian coach Guidetti took over the reins for Nxled after Chinese mentor Chen Gang's one-conference stint.
He has since been tapped to join Adamson's women's volleyball team as one of its team consultants in UAAP Season 87.

MANOLO REFUGIA
Following a coaching shuffle in FEU, Refugia was re-assigned as one of Salak's deputies with the Lady Tamaraws a year after leading the Morayta side to a historic UAAP Final Four appearance.
FEU's homegrown player-turned-coach is also part of PLDT's coaching staff in the PVL under former UP head coach Rald Ricafort.

AARON VELEZ
Velez, the PVL's first pro champion head coach in 2021, has since been promoted to the front office as Chery Tiggo's team manager.
While still a fixture in the Crossovers bench, he is also part of Jose Roque's coaching staff with the La Salle men's volleyball team.

ALOHI ROBINS-HARDY
Amid her ongoing PVL playing eligibility saga, Robins-Hardy has since took on assistant coaching roles for SGA-backed teams ahead of her expected entry in the oncoming 2025 PVL Draft.
The Fil-Hawaiian setter currently serves as a deputy for Farm Fresh and the UP women's volleyball team.

OLIVER ALMADRO
Almadro continues to be involved in all three leagues but in different capacities beyond coaching.
While serving his head coaching role with Letran's women's volleyball team, he has since taken on administrative functions as the head of volleyball operations for Petro Gazz in the PVL and for UP's volleyball programs.
