THE Philippine team bowed to India, 22-25, 24-26, 12-25, on Friday in its debut in the 17th Asian Senior Women’s Volleyball Championship in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand.
The Nes Pamilar-mentored Philippine team called the Power Pinays had chances to win the first two sets but faded each time.
The Power Pinays will next face Iran on Saturday before wrapping up its Pool B preliminaries campaign against 12-time Asian champion China on Sunday.
