TICKETS for a stacked opening night of the 2025 FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship are on sale.
With 50 days before the global conclave, fans can book their seats for opening night at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on Sep. 12 in Pasay City through SM Tickets outlets nationwide or online via philippineswch2025.com or smtickets.com.

Raising the curtains on the tournament’s biggest edition yet is Alas Pilipinas Men’s World Championship debut against world No. 40 Tunisia at 5 p.m.
Shortly after, K-pop group and the event’s global celebrity ambassadors BOYNEXTDOOR will take center stage in the first-ever opening ceremony-slash-concert in FIVB Worlds history.
Opening night ticket prices, as per the above-mentioned official ticketing sites, are as follows:
- PATRON (center): P14,000
- PATRON (back): P12,500
- LOWER BOX (center): P12,500
- LOWER BOX (sides): P8,500
- LOWER BOX (back): P7,500
- UPPER BOX (center): P5,500
- UPPER BOX (sides): P4,500
- UPPER BOX (back): P2,500
- GENERAL ADMISSION: P1,500
One ticket will cover both the Philippines-Tunisia match and the ceremony proper.
How FIVB Worlds, FIBA WC opening tickets compare
This won’t be the first time in recent memory that the Philippines will host a world championship tournament.
In 2023, the country was among three host nations of the Fiba Basketball World Cup with both group and knockout stage matches held in Manila.
Comparing the two global events, ticket pricing for opening day of the FIVB Worlds and the 2023 Fiba World Cup aren't too far apart despite having significant differences.
For starters, here's how tickets were priced two years ago at the Philippine Arena in Bocaue, Bulacan.

Included in a single ticket then was also an opening ceremony-slash-concert with four local acts (Sarah Geronimo, Ben&Ben, Alamat, and The Dawn) and a double-header between Angola and Italy followed by Gilas Pilipinas taking on the Dominican Republic.
Students and teachers were also given a 50 percent discount on tickets all-tournament long by the national government.
In summary, FIVB Worlds opening tickets range from P1,500 to P14,000 (closest seats to center court cheaper) while FIBA WC opening tickets were pegged at P999 to P25,699 (farthest seats from center court cheaper).
