    Petron, Cagayan Valley battle for third place

    PETRON and Cagayan Valley try to salvage their Superliga stint as they battle for their place on Sunday at MOA Arena.

    The Blaze Spikers hope to rebound after bowing to Cignal, 25-20, 25-20,25-23, while the Lady Rising Suns also try to end their campaign with a win after losing in the round of four to Army, 25-22, 25-22, 25-27, 10-25, 15-13.

    Petron and Cagayan clash at 3 p.m. before the title match between Army and Cignal at 5 p.m.

    Aiza Maizo, Angge Tabaquero are expected to lead Petron anew, while Cagayan Valley will lean
    on Joy Cases, Joy Benito, Jen Manzano and Bhebs Pineda.

    Meanwhile, after ending the eliminations with 1-4 cards, PCSO Bingo Milyonaryo and PLDT MyDSL will face each other at 1 p.m. in the battle for fifth.

    The Puffins aims to score a repeat of their, 22-25, 25-18, 25-22, 25-20, win against PLDT MyDSL in their elimination-round encounter.

    PCSO Bingo Milyonaryo will bank on former La Salle spikers Michelle Gumabao, Maureen Penetrante and Stephanie Mercado along with ex-University of St. La Salle star Mic-Mic Laborte.

    The tandem of former Adamson standouts Angela Benting and Pau Soriano will banner PLDT MyDSL, while Lou Ann Latigay and Charmaine Moralde will provide the added boost.
