PAYMAYA took the top spot in the PVL Reinforced Conference with a 25-23, 22-25, 25-20, 25-23 victory over Iriga-Navy on Saturday at the Batangas City Sports Coliseum.
Tess Rountree scored 24 as the High Flyers bagged their third win in four outings. The Lady Oragons coming off a win over BaliPure, now has a 1-1 record.
It was a big win for the High Flyers after a three-set loss to the Creamline Cool Smashers in Tuguegarao last week.
Shelby Sullivan and Aiko Urdas had 11 markers each, Jasmine Nabor had 22 excellent sets and libero Lizlee Anne Pantone had 29 digs and 15 excellent receptions for the High Flyers.
American import Macy Ubben and Lauren Whyte combined for 46 hits for Iriga-Navy.
